Kirk and Yolanda Rogers are settling back into their home among the Landuma people of Guinea, West Africa. Two adults in the village died during the year they were gone, both having refused the opportunity to hear and believe the words of life. Pray that God would show Kirk and Yolanda how they can stimulate interest in knowing the truth in spite of the social price that must be paid by those who listen and believe. Pray Yolanda would have relief from the lingering effects of a stomach bug that has caused her much discomfort.
They arrived to a house covered in dust and full of evidences of those who inhabited it in their absence: mice, geckos, spiders, termites, etc. Pray that they can quickly finish the house cleaning and organising so they can press forward with their ministries of Bible translation, discipleship and literacy.
