Twenty years ago Stephen and Ginger Jordan arrived in the Philippines for the first time; that was back in September 2000. What a milestone! They had a quiet celebration as a family and have been reflecting since then on all that God has done over these years. They moved into the village in 2003. The Lord continues to amaze them with how He provides, and they know a lot of that is because of the prayer and support of His people – a team!
Recently there have been three funerals in their village. Three souls have likely passed into a Christless eternity. The challenge remains: to live their lives fully sold out to Jesus, that more in this village and around the world would know Him as their own personal Saviour.
Praise the Lord for the four attendees of a recent evangelistic Bible study who have expressed faith in Jesus Christ! Please pray that they will desire to serve the Lord and follow Him in obedience to His Word.
Please pray for a new evangelistic outreach that has already started as a result of the one that was just finished. A young couple attended the last few lessons of the Bible study that just ended, and are now being taught in their own home, from the beginning. This Bible study is being led by the believers and they are excited to see fruit.
Praise the Lord, last month Stephen and Ginger started up a new year of ‘Kid’s Bible Club’. Instead of gathering the kids together at the church building, they have developed a new 30-week curriculum that the teachers teach at each of the homes of the kids. This has been a great opportunity, and several kids and one mother have now been faithfully attending Sunday morning service.
Please pray, as they need to apply for new visas, requiring a trip to the capital, Manila. This trip will involve quarantine time and travelling to areas that are high-risk areas in the Philippines. They greatly appreciate your prayers.
Praise the Lord, their kids are doing well.
