North Cotes

The planned set up day for ‘Mission Simulation’ was postponed for a day due to high winds. Thankfully, the winds subsided enough the following day to go ahead and the weather turned out to be perfect. The students are now settled in and engaged in their language study and other training exercises. Please pray for them during this time.

This coming weekend is the Residential Conference here at North Cotes. With the theme of “Make a Difference” the conference is for families interested in learning more about the work of New Tribes Mission around the world. The weekend will be filled with reports from various missionaries, activities to help educate attendees about missions, music, and much more. This year, Geoff is helping with the youth programme in the evenings and will be assisting with the BBQ on Saturday. Dar Gail will be working at the bookstall. Please pray that God will use this time to challenge hearts and lead many into fulltime missionary service. “Therefore said He unto them, the harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.” Luke 10:2

Dar Gail is currently at week 35 in her pregnancy. So far, the baby is growing well and does not seem to have the slowed growth issue that Gracie did. The doctor thinks it very reasonable to expect a normal birth this time. Pray for a safe delivery.
