Wet and cold

Because of the rain, the road in the village was muddy and their first service was wet and cold. Seeing the picture of the church you understand why. But the time was a blessing and the Lord warmed Jack and David’s hearts through the preaching and relationships with the believers.
They were thankful that it was a little warmer the next day. They started the service at 08.00am with the Lord’s Supper and continued with the mission part. Every speaker was given enough time to speak, and as it was Bolivian culture, time is of no importance. As a result the service took five and a half hours. Long, but what a blessing it was for them to be able to teach and to encourage brothers and sisters in Christ.
