Vital prayer

Luis and Joanne Jaspe with Joshua, Jordan and Benjamin are thankful to God for providing a house for them to rent. They live almost right behind Joanne’s parents (David and Chris Brown) and about five minutes’ walk from the Bible College where Joshua is studying.

Joshua graduates from the Bible College at the end of November. Pray for him that he will know the Lord’s leading as to what he should do next.

Jordan is helping in a little church whilst he is at home with them. On Saturdays, Jordan, Benjamin and a few of the Bible College students, who attend this church, teach in a children’s Bible club. These children live with their families out in the country. Their parents are farmers. For several Sundays now, Jordan has also helped with the preaching. Luis and Joanne are so thankful to the Lord for these opportunities that He is giving their sons to be a part of reaching this world for Him.

Another point of praise is that Benjamin was able to finish his school year. When Luis returns home, they will be ordering his next school year.

Luis has been visiting his sister in another Latin American country. It is not easy for him to see her suffer with cancer, but she has been an encouragement and testimony of God’s love despite her difficulties. She recently started with her first three days of chemotherapy. The Lord has been so faithful in providing for each one of her needs. Even the little things.

Joanne and the boys are thankful for Luis’s safe return to Colombia this week.

Thank you for bringing them before the Lord with your prayers! Prayer is so vital. If there is going to be victory in the Lord´s work, Christ has to be the centre.
