Visit to Senegal

The group visited missionaries, churches, people’s homes and a boarding school for missionary kids. They also experienced some cultural events such as shopping and bargaining at the market, getting dresses at the tailor, cooking and sharing a Senegalese meal. Regina also enjoyed praising God with her African brothers and sisters in two different churches.
After the group left Regina had her interview with NTM leadership in Senegal and is now officially en route. She was so encouraged by what she found out about NTM’s vision for Africa. Lots of her questions have been answered. Regina really loves the idea of reaching the unreached with the help of the local church and was challenged by all the unreached people groups in West Africa and the need of missionaries.
Regina hopes to be able to leave for Africa in August. She had a meeting last week with the NTM Germany leadership and has check-ups at the doctors. Pray for all the paperwork and preparations, for interest as she shares about unreached people groups with others, for supporters, and that she can make use of her time and not lose sight of what is really important too: her relationship with Christ.
Regina will most likely keep working in the school until mid-July and help out with Sunday school at church and the ministry among refugees. She would appreciate your prayer for that as well.
