Even though a lot did not go quite as planned, Kristine and the team she serves with in Asia-Pacific were recently able to take a trip to a village. Overall, it was a good trip despite lots of rain and mud, and they were not able to see all the people they had hoped to meet.
However, they were able to meet with all of the dorm kid’s parents (those that they work with in town), and that took quite some time. It was good for the team to get to know them a bit better. They had two Bible studies most evenings with kids and young adults. In addition, they made time for a couple of short trips out to some of their friend’s ‘gardens’ to look at their produce.
This was the first trip interior during the Covid crisis.
