Recently Anna who serves in West Africa had the pleasure of hosting some of the church youth at her house and organising an evening of praise (after a delicious pizza).
She also enjoyed meeting with young women at church, to do a study on identity in Christ with a craft to follow. Pray for these girls, that they may understand their identity in Christ Jesus, and for their spiritual growth and growth as women.
Anna has previously shared about a young man who was interested in attending Bible school! On reading this a family, donated funds so that he could start paying for his schooling. God is wonderful! The church is very grateful. Pray for this young servant of God.
An evangelistic outreach recently took place on the streets of a nearby town. May God touch hearts there!
Anna has also been spending time with a 70 year old woman who she met through sport in the city where she lives. This lady’s whole family live abroad and so she is lonely. She is a very religious woman, which has allowed Anna to have good conversations with her. Pray that the Holy Spirit will work in her life, and that the Lord will reveal Himself and bring her to salvation.
God willing, Anna will be speaking at the ‘Down Town’ conference in Italy in December. A conference with teaching rooted in Scripture. The speakers will share how every aspect of life finds meaning and fulness in Jesus, a truer, fuller and more joyful life than any other! Pray for her trip, that she would arrive safely, and on time. Anna will be there just for one week. Pray that the Lord will speak to the hearts of many young people who will be there, and that God will use her to challenge not only young people but Italy itself to mission!
