Richard and Wendy Rees with Megan, Caleb, Rachel and Karis who serve among the PWO Karen people in Southeast Asia travelled from Thailand to London last month. The Lord arranged for some new friends to pick them up at the airport and provide them with accommodation for two nights. They rested up for a day and Richard was able to pick up their rental vehicle. From there they travelled to Dudley. They spent just over two weeks there and it was a good time of adjusting to the differences in time, weather and culture, visiting with friends (both old and new) and sharing in meetings about their ministry with the Pwo Karen. They have been encouraged, as they have met up with many who have been faithfully praying for them and the work, some for over thirty years!
Now they have started their travels around the country. It has been a testimony to God’s faithfulness how their plans have come together for their travels and their needs have been supplied. Please pray for Richard, Wendy, and family as they travel during the next two and a half months, that they would have safety and good health. Pray that they would be an encouragement to those they visit and with this opportunity, that God has given them to spend time with many who have partnered with them in the work of church planting in Southeast Asia.
