Recently, Jonathan and Rachel Willcock spent a week at North Cotes College, just one of the missionary training centres that they are involved with. They helped to teach a 40-hour module. The students really appreciated what they had to share. One of the added blessings for them at North Cotes is that they have family living within walking distance of the campus and they were able to enjoy spending some time with them.
Their son volunteers for the maintenance team on the campus. Mission work includes keeping properties maintained so that students can continue to be prepared for overseas missionary work. For the next school year, the college needs more volunteers and staff in the nursery, kitchen (the single students eat most of their meals in the dining room), for maintenance and other tasks too. Please pray that these roles will be filled.
At the end of last year Jonathan was not fit enough to do much travelling and was still recovering from surgery. Thankfully, Jonathan’s health has improved greatly, and he is pretty much back to full strength.
They are now planning overseas trips again including travelling to the USA to briefly help at the missionary training centre there. And shortly afterwards they will be off to Mexico to be in leadership meetings and to share with missionaries at the biannual field conference. They are looking forward to it.
