The school now has access to city power. The jungle needs to be kept away from the power lines which requires a lot of man hours. So the need arose to replace the ageing tractor with a new one that would be capable of clearing the jungle along the power lines. The Lord provided the funds and recently Ruben was able to go along with two school staff to Manaus to pick it up. But getting it from the showroom to the jungle was no easy feat. Getting a tractor off a flatbed truck with no ramp is a tense operation.
The students and staff recently had a relaxing break. Pray that they will all settle well for the last five weeks of the term.
A staff member is back at work again after his knee operation and is making great progress.
Also pray for safety as work continues around the school and that the tractor will be used wisely and safely!
