In the midst of challenges, Tony and Maria Verlaan were recently encouraged and challenged at the Mozambique conference. They were encouraged to hear all that God is doing in South East Africa. Each missionary family shared about the work in their area, and how God is raising His church in spite of difficult times.
Among the people groups being reached in Mozambique there are new believers and two locations are reaching out into unreached communities.
Co-workers in Tanzania will be entering into a church planting context next year.
Tony and Maria thank the Lord for these and many other great things He is doing in this small region of Africa with Integral Vision and with many other brothers and sisters in Christ who are faithfully sowing the seed of the Gospel. Please be praying for each of the works as they face uncertain days.
Tony and Maria have previously asked for prayer for the South Africa Cross-Cultural Equipping Course that was to start in May this year. As a team, they have decided to defer starting the course until next year. They would value your prayers as they continue to put the challenge out for more workers. They will continue to work with those that are doing parts of the course and the one couple doing the complete course.
