Andrew and Eliza Keyser and family serve in Senegal but are currently enjoying their home-assignment in the Netherlands and are starting to feel refreshed again!
Initially their children had a more difficult start than they had hoped but they are really ‘settled’ now. They enjoy going to school and are all richly blessed with friends. It is so important and comforting for Andrew and Eliza to know that their children are happy! Thank you Lord!
Their daughter Josephine had a cerebral haemorrhage while they were in Senegal. She is doing well at the moment, although she does complain about minor headaches quite frequently. Their next appointment is 18th of November with the neurosurgeon to discuss the pros and cons of a possible operation. Pray that it will be a good and clear conversation and that God will grant them and the doctors wisdom to make the right decision.
A few weeks ago, they heard the sad news that Eliza’s father’s skin cancer (which was discovered three years ago) has now spread to the brain. This means that he will soon have to undergo surgery. Pray that everything may go well, for the doctors, for a good recovery after surgery and peace in their hearts for them as a family. He is only 61 years old and so they truly pray that the Lord will give him some more years.
Thank you for partnering with Andrew and Eliza through prayer as they desire to reach the least reached in West Africa. Their prayer is that the people of Senegal may know the Lord Jesus Christ.
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away. And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.”
