Thankfulness

Lisa counts it a privilege to have a little role in ministry at NTBI, and to be able to rub shoulders with the many young lives He brings. Her heart is blessed and encouraged as she has opportunity to build relationships especially with the dear married ladies. By the end of the two years spent in training the ladies have become Lisa’s dear friends who she cherishes and misses. Lisa is thankful that her Heavenly Father has blessed her in this way.
Continue to pray that God would raise up more young men and women to come into the training, in all of NTM’s centres, and also for more of them to go on into missionary training and out into the world.
Matt Zowada, Lisa’s newest son-in-law, married to Deborah, is heading up the Mobilisation team at NTBI. Deborah works in the student life department with Lisa, specifically with the single ladies. Matt and Deborah are expecting their first baby in May, which will be Lisa’s tenth grandbaby. More blessings!
Lisa’s son Benjamin and Missy and their four kids have just headed back to PNG after their short furlough. They are hoping to finish up language learning by the end of this year and begin literacy and teaching early next year. Benjamin and Missy were trained and equipped for their church planting ministry through NTBI.
Bryan and Martha (Lisa’s daughter) Conard and Cillian, will be moving to Missouri in August to do missionary training. Because they are leaving Lisa will be moving house. The Zowadas and Lisa are going to move so that we can live right next door to each other. Lisa is thankful for this as she knows they will look out for her and she will feel close to family. Pray for the strength, energy and help to be able to make those moves.
Lisa is continually thankful for her family and that another two of her children and their families live within a two/ four hour drive. They are all a blessing to her.
