Alessandro and Chantal Parrillo and family, recently arrived safely in Senegal after a short home assignment in Canada, and have many reasons to be thankful.
Alessandro has received his Canadian permanent resident card!
God continues to provide for their children to attend Dakar Academy! Samuel started grade 4 and Jolissa started grade 2.
They have settled back in and are back to working in the mission business office. They are enjoying reconnecting with their friends and co-workers.
They would appreciate your prayers for:
Health, energy, and strength as they are pretty worn out and the extreme humid heat is not helping. They need wisdom as to how God wants us to use their time and energy.
Spiritual growth, including for their kids.
Their kids as they go to school, for protection and for progress academically. Returning to attending a local church where they must stay still for over two hours has been particularly difficult for them.
A good outcome for Alessandro’s Canadian citizenship application.
Wisdom as they begin the process of transitioning over to new accounting software.
Wisdom as they seek to buy a more reliable vehicle.
Political stability in Senegal with the approach of the presidential elections in February 2024.
The Bible-teaching among the people group with whom they previously worked. They are approaching the day when they will hear that Jesus gave His life for them!
