Surgery

Paul has been improving and now healing nicely and does not need as much pain medication as he did, even before the surgery. He now has permission to drive although sitting is still uncomfortable.

Paul and Susan are both thankful for the concern and many prayers over the last weeks (and months) and the continued financial support even while they are away from the Lord’s work in PNG. The Lord has sustained them and brought them this far.

It is early days yet to know how the future will unfold for them and what plans they can make, but as those well-known words go – ‘we know who holds the future and we know who holds our hand.’

Pray on with Paul and Susan for the Gende people who have not yet heard the gospel and do not know the Saviour. And for those who have heard the message and believed, as the Apostle Paul wrote to the Philippians 1:6. pray that the good work that has been started will be completed. Whether they can return to the Gende or not, it would be good to have other missionaries join the Gende team; so keep praying for that too.
