Their son Andrew met Joanna at Bible school. They are delighted to welcome Joanna into the family. They also enjoyed seeing their son Matthew again when he flew over from Australia for the wedding. Norman was able to visit with him for five days in Perth on his way home from the Summit trip to Papua New Guinea last year and it was a special time for them both. Their daughter Rebekah finished her dissertation and got her BSc in July. She is still working as a sister in the Royal in Liverpool but is praying about what the Lord would have her do next. Their sons Caleb and Andrew work together as chefs in Lisburn. Thankfully they work well together!
A big prayer request is for their dear friend in PNG. She worked with them for ten years and is a precious lady. She presently is suffering a lot of persecution from her husband and the village where she lives as she is the only believer there. Pray God will protect and strengthen her and that He will save her husband and change the hearts of the villagers.
As well as wedding preparations Norman and Angela have been working on preparing for this year’s Summit teams. The plan is to go to the Philippines in July and Brazil in August. Pray for the members of these teams and for all the planning. In January Norman went with a team to Kenya to help FAME build some rooms onto a school they sponsor. God willing he will be going on a team in April to Thessalonica in Greece to help with a building project. Pray for good health, strength and wisdom in all these forthcoming events.
