Standing on solid ground

Daniel and Nicole Noort with David are thankful that they can testify that, “God supplied all their need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

To stand on the promises of God is like standing on solid ground in a raging ocean. Everything seems to be in turmoil but security is found in the hand of the Lord.

Daniel and Nicole are looking forward to their next step of bringing the Gospel to the poor, the broken hearted, and to captives.

They plan to move to a different region in Ontario. Their goal is to know how best to serve the church in deciding where to go as the Lord’s messengers. With good information, they can make well-informed decisions about church planting among the world’s least-reached people groups.

They first need to learn the best way to communicate God’s Word in the context they serve so that the people come to understand fully what God is teaching in His Word.  They desire to meet with other workers and find out what they can learn from them. At the same time building good relations in every reserve that they hope to visit.

Initially they hope to move to the new region. Recently they applied for a rental home and were able to view the house. They met the broker. Praise the Lord that he is also a Christian.

Psalms 143:10 ‘Teach me to do your will, for you are my God! Let your good Spirit lead me on level ground!’

Daniel and Nicole thank and praise the Lord for:

  • His presence in their lives
  • His rest and comfort in looking forward
  • Clarity in direction
  • Meeting a Christian broker

Pray for:

  • Open doors
  • Good connections with fellow workers in the region
  • David finishing High School and the option of doing an extra grade 13
