Shining brightly

A few weeks ago, Alessandro and Chantal Parrillo loaded up the removals van and made the seven-hour drive (not counting stops) to Ethnos Canada in Durham, Ontario. They are thankful for God’s protection and for the help received and are making good progress in getting settled. They are still working on painting their apartment and doing all that is required when moving from one province to another.

Despite another move, their children have adjusted quite well. God has provided friends for them who live right next door, and this has been a tremendous blessing. They now have completed two weeks of school. They praise God for the way He cares for their children.

Alessandro and Chantal began their new ministry roles this week. Ethnos Canada now offers Bible training on site. Alessandro will work primarily with the maintenance team and may help with the Bible School as needed. Chantal will work part-time in the office in member services.

In the future, they will likely be involved in discipling new missionary candidates and possibly in teaching. They are thankful for the opportunity to continue to play a part in bringing God’s Truth to the least reached around the world. They are also enjoying connecting with people and becoming part of the community.

They would appreciate your continued prayers as they all adjust, learn new responsibilities, establish new family rhythms, and connect with a new church. Pray for wisdom in which responsibilities to take on. Their desire is to shine brightly for Christ wherever they are and in whatever they do!
