Paul and Marina Briggs’ son-in-law had a great trip to Ivory Coast at the end of January. He took over 60 kilos of Scripture portions and Bible commentaries for the Loron people. The materials have reached the village and are already being used by the believers and Bible teachers. He was also able to visit the new base for well-drilling of the mission, Friends in Action UK. He enjoyed helping with various tasks for about five days before returning to Northern Ireland. Thank you for your prayers. It was a very profitable trip.
Paul gives praise to the Lord that he continues to recover from his recent illness. The medication has been quite effective, and he is gaining in energy and stamina and has been enjoying higher levels of concentration every day. Again, thank you for your prayers.
The Bible translation team continues to make steady progress on preparing the text of the Loron New Testament for printing. There are still many checks to be completed, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Paul and Marina thank the Lord for the faithful group of Loron believers on the translation team who spend many hours working on the project.
Please continue to pray for the Loron Bible teachers and church leaders as they reach out to new villages with the Gospel and as they disciple the Loron believers.
Thank you for your continued prayers and support. Your interest and involvement in the work in West Africa is greatly appreciated.
