“Breaks are awesome!” is Steve and Gerdine Stanley’s response to time spent out of the village and at the mission centre. They have been enjoying time as a family, nice food, privacy and good company.
Lots of naps, a few movies, many books and lots of trampoline time for Oscar. Two weeks of doing as little as they can (which with a toddler is still quite active!) has been great.
They have loved having the time to just sit back and enjoy things guilt free and they are now really excited to be back in Kovol. Two weeks off seems to be exactly what they needed. This week they returned to the village. They are glad to see their co-workers Philip and Natalie again and part of them is looking forward to starting language learning again.
Pray for them as they start back into culture and language aquisition.
