Presenting the work God is doing

At the beginning of July, Aaron and Amy Speitelsbach who serve among the Glarro people in Liberia, West Africa, will be travelling to Senegal to attend the field conference for West Africa. For one week, they will have fellowship with other missionaries, exchange ideas, and encourage one another in the Lord’s work.

They are currently on home assignment, having first visited the USA, they made it without problems back to Germany about four weeks ago. After a few slower days, in which Amy finally got over her chest cold, they spent a really busy time, visiting, sharing, and presenting the mission work to groups of interested people.

It has been such an encouragement for them to be with God’s people who want to see unreached people reached with the Gospel and are faithfully praying toward that end.

They will take this week off and then start making trips and visits again. They are still trying to schedule a few visits to present what God is doing among the Glarro, but for the most part their schedule has fallen into place.

Their co-workers, Guy and Keyla Burkhead, (who have moved to the capital city) have made a trip back to the Glarro village. Guy was teaching a few lessons before they drove back to Monrovia. When Aaron was speaking to Guy on the phone, he had mentioned that a few bridges on the road to the village looked pretty rough and were scary to drive over. He said that he was not sure how much longer they will be able to cross them with a vehicle.

Praise God:

– For some downtime.

– That He is slowly preparing Aaron and Amy for the next term on the field which will begin early August.

– For giving wisdom in scheduling and helping them organise their home assignment time.

Please pray:

– That they can be an encouragement to the people they visit and that the Lord will challenge others to serve Him on the mission field.

– For a solution to the deteriorating condition of the road to the village.

Thank you for your prayers for the Glarro people and the missionary team.
