Preparing for Brazil

Tim and Lynsey have been so encouraged as they have travelled around the province visiting churches, mid‐week meetings, prayer groups and youth meetings. Everyone has been so welcoming and interested in their anticipated ministry in Brazil. Although some have already heard them speak several times already, they are still very patient and supportive. So far they have shared in about 40 different meetings and they have been thoroughly blessed and encouraged at each one!
Pray for the Lord’s continued leading in Tim and Lynsey’s lives and for their visa applications and upcoming interviews as that want finally set a date and book their flights to Manaus
They have managed to get most of their belongings sorted out and considerably downsized, as they will only be able to take two suitcases each when they move. This is because shipping costs are so expensive and most of what they need can be purchased out there in Brazil if necessary. They are also well through their course of vaccinations too and should have them all finished by the first week in January. Although a little painful and uncomfortable, thankfully so far the side effects have not been too severe.
From 17th‐20th November Tim and Lynsey spent a few days at the ACRE conference, which was held in Enniskillen. This was a great time of blessing for them and a good opportunity to hear from others in the organisations, who are also serving the Lord with ACRE. They were then able to travel over to England and Scotland for nine days to say goodbye to family and friends and share what they hope to do next.
Pray for Tim and Lynsey as they finish their time of deputation and for safety in travel. Also pray for them as they preparing to leave friends and family in Northern Ireland.
