In celebration of serving in Papua New Guinea for 75 years, New Tribes Mission PNG would like to invite you to pray with us for a series of people groups we as a mission are working among. The Iski people live in many different hamlets and villages along the Ramu river in Madang province, living on produce from their gardens and selling bettlenut and cocoa as a cash crop. Religion has been around for almost a century but most of the Iski people are confused about the Gospel message. Church planters lived among them for many years learning their language and culture, creating an alphabet and literacy programme, and translating and teaching God’s Word in their language. In 2025 the complete New Testament and many Old Testament portions were finalised and currently is in the process of be prepared for printing in 2026.
Please pray for the church as they continue to grow in their love for Christ and that they would stand strong on His Word. Pray that God would prepare hearts for the Gospel to spread to more and more villages. Pray for the Iski church and its leaders to be faithful witnesses and ministers of the Word of God.
