The Lord has gone before and worked it out for Rebecca to get a bulk supply of the medication to take with her.  This is not normal procedure, so it is a bit miraculous.  Praise the Lord. She has been able to purchase plane tickets and is set to leave early September.

Lord willing at the end her eight months in Papua New Guinea, the Mengen New Testament will be completed.  Her Mengen friends will be thrilled and she can’t wait to see this precious gift placed into their hands. Pray that the translation would continue to be clear and accurate in the Mengen language.  In the months ahead, Rebecca will be finishing: Matthew, John, Hebrews, James, 1-2 Peter, 1-2-3 John, Jude and Revelation.

Once the translation work is completed in PNG, it will need to be formatted and sent to the printers.  Hopefully that will just take a few months.

To see the New Testament completed will require a lot of work from Rebecca, her co-workers, Mengen translation helpers and NTM’s translation consultants. Please pray for everyone involved, that the Lord would give strength and wisdom.

Pray for her health also, that she would have the energy to work long hours each day.  With MS comes extreme fatigue so she will need to pace herself.

The Mengen church continues to grow and expand, with outreaches happening in several locations.  Please pray for the Mengen missionaries and church leaders as they often bear heavy loads with discipling the believers and teaching several times each week.
