Some of the believers in the village are sensing the need of a “pastor” and have asked Christian leaders in a town nearby to help. These leaders are praying about what to do.

Verne and Denny Johnson plan to visit the Palaka people in June once they finish teaching at the NTM Missionary Training Centre in Missouri. Denny plans on working with Palaka helpers to translate the books of Romans and Ephesians. Pray not only for progress, but for the forming of a good Palaka translation team, including good readers of Palaka and typists. The book of Acts will be checked too with the final checking team.
Allan Caley hopes to join them in early July.
Pray that Verne, Denny and Allan will know how to respond this summer in such a way that these believers can function together as a church in spite of the difficulties.
