Wes Goddard who is on home assignment in the USA, praises the Lord for keeping his family and himself safe from the Covid-19 virus and for the many who are praying for him and are interested in his ministry.
Pray for God to give Wes wisdom to know when he should return to Paraguay. The situation continues with no commercial international flights allowed to fly in to Paraguay but things are starting to look more encouraging
Please continue to pray for the Pai Bible teachers in Paraguay. One Bible teacher recently sent Wes a message and indicated that he is planning to do outreach into another Pai community. Pray for him as he teaches a number of evangelism classes each month in his own community, and pursues this new opportunity. His wife teaches Sunday school to the children at church. Locally, seventy houses have been built and will soon be turned over to the people. Pray that they would adjust to living in a village setting, since they are not used to that.
Also, pray for the three Pai pastors in that community, as they have the oversight of the church there.
Wes’s co-workers in Paraguay, the Windler family, were able to get a much needed upgrade for their vehicle. His other co-workers, who are in Canada for a while, continue to work on producing supplementary Bible teaching materials for the Pai.
Thanks so much for your prayers!
