Out of the bush

Miriam returns this week from bush orientation where she has been in a tribe in the lowlands since the middle of December. The purpose of this orientation is to experience life in isolation and to learn how to live with tribal people. It gives an idea of housing needs and first hand insight into church planting. Living in isolation means e.g., that there is no possibility to go shopping somewhere. The missionaries send their shopping list to the next NTM base and get their supply by plane or helicopter. Because this is quite expensive they place an order maybe every two or three month.
Now that her orientation is complete Miriam will spend six months at Lapilo. She will work at NTM Aviation. She hopes that during this time the Lord will shows her in which tribe He wants her to serve.
