Ralf and Elli Schlegel with Mimi serve among the Dinangat people of Papua New Guinea and they are excited to let you know that they have finished translating 2 Corinthians and Revelation!
In March and April, a translation consultant and three Dinangat helpers helped them check everything thoroughly and then made a few tweaks. Now the Scriptures are off to the printers. Jeremiah, their co-worker, will take them to the Dinangat church in June. It is a big step forward in finishing the Dinangat New Testament, and they are so thankful to God for giving them the strength and wisdom to get it done!
Ralf and Elli’s daughter Naomi became engaged to Jaeden in March of this year. They met at Ethnos Bible Institute. The wedding is scheduled for June in Montana/USA, on the beautiful property of Jaeden’s parents. This means that Ralf, Elli and Mimi will travel to the USA at the end of the month! Their daughter Bexi and her husband Tobi, will be arriving from Germany. They are so grateful to God for bringing Naomi and Jaeden together, and for their future plans to serve Him in missions.
After the wedding, they plan to spend the rest of the summer with their families and friends in Germany. Naomi and Jaeden will join them soon after their honeymoon.
