On the road again

Jonathan and Rachel Willcock are grateful to have spent time with family over Christmas and also meeting their newest grandson. They miss their family in the USA, but are glad that they are staying well in spite of the current cold weather.

Jonathan will be starting his travels again soon. In the middle of January, he plans to go to South America for a month. While there, he will be involved in a field conference and then visit one of the tribes in the Amazon basin to talk about worldview and how to teach through the Bible in a way that makes sense to the different cultures of the people listening to the teaching.

After Jonathan’s trip, and following a quick visit to the USA for meetings, he will spend several weeks at home working on the new Culture and Language Acquisition (CLA) material. The team that has been working on this hope to have as much as possible finished and ready to present by the end of May, when there will be a workshop dedicated to describing and explaining the new programme.

In April, Jonathan will be back “on the road” again for a trip to Bolivia and then both Jonathan and Rachel will visit NTM-UK at North Cotes for a week before a few days in Germany for meetings. After that they will both head to the USA for more meetings, followed by spending time with their kids and grandkids there, and then to the CLA workshop at the end of May.

Please pray for endurance and good health for Jonathan to be able to make all these trips and for Rachel as she stays in England during some of these trips and keeps things going “on the home front”. Please also pray for wisdom and grace for them both so that they can be helpful to those they meet on their travels.
