One thousand six hundred people gathered at the end of July in northern Ivory Coast for the dedication of the Loron New Testament. After decades of work, the Loron people finally have God’s Word in their hands, and in their own language.
Thank you for the part you played in helping to bring about this very special occasion.
Dozens of copies of the New Testament were given out as gifts to village chiefs and special guests who attended the event.
Please pray that the Lord would use His Word among the Loron people to draw many more people to Himself.
Five hundred copies of the book of 1 Samuel have also been printed and delivered to the Loron people. Please pray for pastor Donald as he leads the Loron team in translating more books of the Old Testament. It is hoped that to 2 Samuel will be ready for its final check later this year.
