The last couple of months have been full of ministry activities for Jonathan and Rachel Willcock. They travelled to Canada to help run a missionary trainers’ workshop. It ran smoothly and from the feedback was much appreciated by the attendees. Rachel really enjoyed helping to cook for approximately 50 people (3 meals a day for a week) and especially had fun chatting and laughing with some of the other ladies.
For most of the month of July Jonathan was in Colombia while Rachel stayed in the UK. Jonathan went to Colombia for a forum with representatives of all the training programmes in Latin America. While he was there, he also met with two of the field leadership teams to talk about how they can coordinate the church planting efforts among people groups who live in more than one country.
This month they are in the UK keeping busy with many online meetings, preparing materials in Spanish for future forums and workshops, visiting family and friends, etc.
Jonathan will be at the mission’s Brazilian Bible School for two weeks in September. He will be meeting with mission leaders from the Latin America region, with teaching, discussion times and just getting to know each other better. Please pray for a profitable, encouraging and enjoyable time for everyone attending.
Please pray for Jonathan and Rachel to have godly wisdom as to which responsibilities to take on. This year Jonathan has joined the ‘Global Equipping Coordinating Team’ and the ‘International Ministries Team’. These both come with added responsibilities on top of what he has already been doing. They also come with opportunities to see God working in so many ways and in so many areas of the world.
