Jesus’ heart has always been toward children and them coming to know Him as their own and personal Saviour. David and Christine Baxter serve at the missions school in Mexico and know that Jesus loves the big kids, too! This month Christine was a chaperone for the “formal” Valentine’s Party for the junior and senior high. They had a workshop to address the issues of AI (Artificial Intelligence) in school work and her science class also had fun demonstrating rocket propulsion with balloons.
David has a new role as director of the support ministries on the Mexican field in addition to his other responsibilities. He has been involved in many meetings and much more correspondence and communication due to this role. However, he is thankful to be able to serve in this way.
They are thankful for:
All the work that was accomplished by the ‘Friends in Action Team’ that visited from the USA to do some electrical work at the missionary training centre.
Safety in all the work that was done.
A good third quarter of school.
A great group of kids!
The work team from Christine’s home church who arrive this week.
That they were not affected by the unrest of the past week.
Things are settling down throughout the country.
Pray for:
Good flights and connections for the team.
Wisdom and safety in all they do.
A good start to the last quarter of school next month.
Continued stability in Mexico.
Ability for all the missionaries to continue in their areas.
Many to come to know Jesus, who loves them so much He gave His life for their salvation and lives today as a testimony of His grace and mercy!
Thank you for your partnership in prayer.
If you, or anyone you know, is interested in joining the work in maintenance or as a teacher, please contact David and Christine via the mission.
