Theo and Martha Enns now serve West Africa from their home in Alabama, to be able to care for Theo’s Mum (who is slowly recovering from localised nerve pains and aging frustrations).
This month, the literacy software, which Theo helped translate into French, was used for the first time, helping a missionary team develop an adult literacy course for a new language group in Africa. This missionary team has just recently translated the New Testament into this language. So now, the missionaries will be training people from that language group on how to teach their own people how to read and write, so that they will be able to read the Scriptures for themselves in the very near future.
Pray for Theo and the French Resources Team as they translate training materials into French, so that Africans can reach other language groups with the Christmas Story. Praise the Lord for African believers who are interested in reaching those who have never heard God’s Story in their own language.
Theo and Martha are thankful for good health and joy in serving Him from home. Pray for them as they participate with their local church in reaching their own community in Alabama, USA, with the ‘True Story’ of this season.
