Life in the Land of the Unexpected

Of course life at the mission headquarters ticks along with the routine of school, medical clinic and many other departments. Paul has also been asked to join the centre leadership team recently bringing with it more responsibility and time pressures. They continue to value all your support and prayers for them as a family and the work going on throughout Papua New Guinea to see the

Gospel message spread amongst remote people groups.

Lesley continues to manage home life, looking after Lydia in the mornings whilst Callum and Amy are out at school and then continuing to work with Amy in the afternoons as she finishes school at noon. Lesley is planning on going back into the clinic a little each week, to work and shadow a fellow physiotherapist who is at Lapilo working at the moment.

Callum and Amy continue to excel at school. Pray for the children that they would continue to grow up in knowledge and truth, following God’s ways in all they do and staying safe in the process.

Pray for Lesley as she has a painful ganglion on her wrist. Also pray for Paul in his many responsibilities at the mission school, with youth ministry and his new role on the centre management team.

Paul and Lesley pray many in PNG and other lands would also know the good news that can set them free from the fear and confusion they live in. Pray for new tribal church planting teams in Hewa, Bali and Amdu; that they will be able to learn the language quickly and build good relationships. Also pray for the Pal tribal church planting work as they approach the time for teaching the people God’s talk after years of language learning and preparation.
