Involvement

For Daniel, Nicole and David Noort the last month has been filled with work around the house. Since they moved in, they have been painting, cleaning, and fixing all sorts of things. They finished the shower unit in one bathroom and fixed the rotten floor under the toilet in the other. Bit by bit the house is becoming more and more their home. For now! They are thankful to Lord for physical strength.

After two weeks, they went back to Durham to attend a weeklong Linguacultural workshop. They also had the opportunity to clean their old apartment on campus – or rather, David did along with friends. It was a busy time and they were invited for meals almost every day.

Going back to Durham gave them an opportunity to visit a church that they had been attending over the last year, to update them about their next steps and plans. They shared about God’s blessings and for providing a house. Daniel and Nicole are very grateful for their involvement in their work and their fellowship in the Gospel. In their journey the last five years, they have been so blessed by God’s saints carrying them forward. They praise God for His help in everything.

(Ephesians 4:15-16 “…[we] may grow up into Him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplies, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, makes increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.”)

Pray for:
•Continued strength and energy to finish the work around the house
•Settling in the new location
•Upcoming events on one of the reserves
•Being able to make new connections with First Nations and local people
•God’s wisdom in work and relationships
