Two weeks ago, Daniel and Nicole Noort’s application to the Native Evangelical Fellowship of Canada (NEFC) was officially approved. This means that they are about to change employers and would need new work permits in Canada. Along with their son, David, they have decided to start applying for permanent residence. This way David will also be able to work, which currently is not possible. They are also in talks with a mission organisation based in the Netherlands that is willing to offer some administrative support. Daniel and Nicole praise the Lord that He is with them in every step because sometimes they lose track of what is next.
Last week they had the last lesson of the Tetelestai Bible Study with their friends on the reserve. This week they hope to do a review with them. They have been Christians for a long time but Daniel and Nicole are hoping for feedback regarding how the lessons have deepened their understanding of the Gospel. They also desire to share some ideas about continuing the Bible study in the book of Acts.
They are thankful for the great relationship with their elderly friends and for the warmer weather of spring that they have been enjoying.
Pray for the opportunity to continue Bible Study, the wisdom and provision for the next steps for permanent residence, God’s help in completing their transition to NEFC and that David’s application to Millar Bible School might be within the will of God.
