Lord willing, Becky will be able to return to PNG in September. Her MS is starting to stabilise. Of course, there are still many hoops to jump through, the main one being how is she going to be able to get the MS medication while living overseas. For now, she will just take it one step at a time.
Even though she’s now finished one project, Becky still has quite a bit of work to keep her busy. She will be going through all the “book introductions” for the Mengen New Testament and making sure that they are finished. They are kind of basic at the moment, so she will take some time to flesh those out. She also wants to go through all four Gospels again. There are many overlaps in the various stories, so she needs to make sure that they are all consistent especially with the various key terms.
Becky is looking forward to seeing her Mengen friends again. It was hard for her to leave them in September without being able to say proper goodbyes! Please continue to keep the Mengen believers in your prayers. Pray that they would be faithful to meet together and to walk with the Lord. The Bible teachers must be tired, especially those who are living in the various outreach villages. Please pray that they would have wisdom as they lead the flock of believers. Pray too that the new believers would have a hunger to know the Lord and to grow in their understanding of Him.
