Wes, and his co-workers, praise the Lord for the growth of the local Pai church in Paraguay that they have been leading and involved in over the years. For some time, the church has been making plans to join an association of Evangelical churches for indigenous people groups in Paraguay. In January, two Pai church leaders travelled to attend a meeting with the association leaders to officially join the association. At that meeting, eight Pai individuals who are functioning as leaders in different areas of ministry in their local church, were named as the church staff. It is really encouraging to see them take on a lot more responsibility for their local church and that they are very capable to do so! One of the church leaders now co-ordinates the rotation of missionaries and Pai Bible teachers to do teaching from the book of 1 Peter on Sundays. Please pray that the church would continue to grow and become more organised.

Wes, and his co-workers have been encouraged with how the core group of Pai believers at their location have responded and are taking more and more responsibility for the local church and outreach.

Please pray too for the Pai believers at the location Wes’s parents had lived at for many years, as they plan to hold special Bible teaching sessions all of next week. Thank you for praying.
