Forty years

The Lord has opened the door for Paul and Marina Briggs to make a short trip to Ivory Coast next month. They are thrilled at the prospect of seeing some of the Loron church leaders and believers. They plan to have a small presentation of the New Testament with a small group of Loron folk including those that have been directly involved with the translation.

The printer in the Netherlands completed their work just before Christmas. The ship, with 3,750 copies of the Loron New Testament, left for Ivory Coast earlier this month.

The consignment is scheduled to arrive in country forty years to the day since Paul and Marina first went to Ivory Coast as missionaries!

The Loron believers plan to have the main dedication of the New Testament later this year, depending on when the New Testaments clear customs.

Please continue to pray that things will progress well and that the Loron people will, finally, have the complete New Testament in their own language.
