This month marks 42 years since Lance and Laura Ostman moved into the village to partner with Ron and Michelle Jennings in ministry to the Higaunon people of the Philippines. They praise the Lord for His faithfulness and give God the glory for all He has done and is doing.
Two years ago, Lance was told that he needed cataract surgery. Due to scheduling and their travels, that didn’t happen until now. Praise the Lord, whilst they are back in the USA, it has been possible for both eyes to be done, and he no longer needs glasses.
They are so grateful that it’s all done and that post-surgery examination showed all is well.
Their home while in the USA is in Oklahoma, but the eye surgery took place in Alabama. Being in a different state doesn’t mean they are not working. They have been gifted a wonderful place to stay where Lance can continue to work. He is currently working on Psalm 89. Please pray for wisdom as he works on this book! It’s rather challenging.
They are also working online with Global Equip students. Thank you for praying for the students as they take this course. They spend about 12 hours a week doing their studies. Part of that is a two-hour Zoom meeting which Lance and Laura take part in each week.
Thank you once again, for your partnership with Lance and Laura in the work God has given them to do. The past 43 years since their arrival in the Philippines, and 42 years with the Higaunon people have been amazing.
