Finishing strong

David, Christine, Abby and Sarah Baxter had the amazing experience of celebrating Easter Sunday at a sunrise service on the beach with around 6000 other people. They felt truly blessed to celebrate Christ’s resurrection in such a beautiful setting and to witness the public baptism of over 100 people in the ocean after the service was over. Easter dinner with their family was a real highlight after so many years of not being together for that occasion. Taking advantage of the family time, they celebrated Abby’s 17th birthday a week early. Later in the week, they thoroughly enjoyed more time at the beach.
Arriving back in Mexico, David and Chris were faced with the reality that they have very few weeks left of the school year and many activities on the horizon! Please pray for students and staff alike that they will be able to finish strong.
The last day of finals and the graduation banquet will be on the 20th May with an ‘Awards Ceremony’ and ‘Graduation’ two days later. After this the Baxters will attend the ‘Field Conference’ before flying to Northern Ireland for home assignment in early June.
The time will certainly fly and they are really looking forward to the field conference and hearing first-hand what the Lord is doing in the many tribal works in Mexico.
As always David and Chris are so thankful for faithful financial and prayer support. Please continue to pray for the need for a 1st Grade teacher for next year.
