Enthusiastic helpers

Praise the Lord, Poul Joensen’s trip to Papua New Guinea is going well. He is now in Sorimi. He was so pleased to see everyone again and to spend time with them throughout the first weekend, while also getting settled in his little house. Things are functioning fairly well, like running cold water and his two-burner stove. A bees’ nest was removed from the house with no harm to anyone but he is still trying to get rid of termites!

A good number of people have gathered for church each Sunday.

Poul has begun translation work on Matthew.  He has some new young men joining his group of helpers. These are second generation Christians and Poul is excited to see their enthusiasm.

Poul and Carol appreciate your continued prayers for health and wisdom in discipleship that is relevant to their needs, along with good progress in translation.
