Pete and Liesl Hypki with Kester, Cana and Salem, serve among the Nahuatl people in Mexico and are currently on home assignment in the USA.
After taking some time to settle in and adjust to another child, they are doing their best to connect with their supporters and churches. Pray that they would have ample opportunities to share and mutually encourage one another through what God’s been doing in their lives, in the Nahuatl work, and in the lives of those who support the work.
Pray for Pete as he prepares to preach at a supporting church later this month in Wisconsin. Pray for wisdom on what to share and that he will do it to God’s glory.
The Nahuatl church continue to meet regularly, with a small core of believers and some family members also attending. Pray they will continue to grow in faith and knowledge of the Word, and demonstrate the love of Christ to those around them.
Pray for Pete and Liesl’s partners in the Nahuatl work. Katie and Rachel continue working on translation and literacy – pray for endurance and wisdom to do their ministries well. The Elkins will be travelling back to Mexico this month – pray for safe travel and their settling back into life there. The Husbands will be delayed in joining the team on site. Pray for God’s provision for their needs and His timing for their arrival and house construction in the village.
Thank you for praying Pete and Liesl, the team, and for the Nahuatl.
