End in sight

Ingvard and Erla are almost finished with their yearly Next Step Interviews with their fellowship group. Five of the students in their fellowship group would like to continue next year with the Cross Cultural Communication Course (3C – Missionary Training). The other five are going home to study or work. Ingvard and Erla praise the Lord for all of the students. Please continue to pray for Ingvard and Erla as there is still quite a bit that has to be achieved before the end of the academic year.
Last weekend was the “Make a Difference” conference. It was fully booked well in advance and approximately 200 people of all ages attended. Ingvard and Erla were very pleased that five men from Ingvard’s home church Ebenezer in Torshavn came over especially for the conference.
The 3C students are doing Mission Simulation the whole of June. They are living in tents behind the gymnasium building on NTM’s property. This time is set apart for living without modern conveniences, at the same time as they put to practice the culture and language learning methods they have learned during the year. It is usually a fun time, but can be quite a test, as the weather isn’t always the best. This year the group is bigger than usual, twenty-two all together. Ten singles and six couples, five of whom have little children! Please pray that it will be a profitable time for all of them.
On the 23rd July, Thursday evening, Graduation will be held in the Gym. This is always a nice formal time, marking the end of a completed school year. Each student will receive their diploma. Family and friends come from far and wide for this occasion. Please pray for the students as they start a new chapter of their lives.
