Wes Goddard praises the Lord for health and strength and for speaking opportunities, to share about the church planting efforts in Paraguay during his time of home assignment in the USA. He is thankful to God for the many who are praying for him and are interested in his ministry.
Pray for wisdom for Wes to know when he should return to Paraguay. It is not clear as to when restriction will be lifted to allow him to make the flight back. Praise the Lord that, somewhat larger groups of people are now permitted to gather together in church services there.
Continue to pray for the Pai Bible teachers. The wife of one of them has been having some fairly serious health issues. Please pray for her health, and that she and her husband would be encouraged as they have opportunities to minister in the local Pai church and do outreach in the area.
Pray for Wes’s co-workers, the Windler family, as they continue in their ministry with the Pai people. They are the only missionary family on location right now, and are somewhat isolated from other missionaries, due to Covid-19. Pray that God would enable the Windlers and other missionaries in Paraguay to find creative ways to minister to the native people in a safe manner, in light of Covid-19.
Pray for Wes’s co-workers who are currently in Canada. They are preparing supplementary Bible lessons for the Pai people, as they take care of their mother/mother-in-law.
Pray that the Pai believers would take advantage of the loosening Covid-19 restrictions, and meet together for studying God’s Word on a regular basis at their churches.
