Andrew and Joanna who serve with their family in Asia-Pacific are excited to share once again how God is moving in different areas of their life and ministry.
The new school year is off to a vibrant start! Most of the young people have returned after the summer break, and there were a few new faces too, which they are thankful for, and brings the total to 25 teens that they connect with regularly. Some live in the dorm full-time, while others join them for weekly gatherings and discipleship. Each one is a precious opportunity to invest in the next generation.
Recently, Andrew had the privilege of helping with the kids’ programme during the refresher course for their co-workers at the missions Bible School for nationals. It was a joy for him to see the children’s eager faces and their genuine excitement to learn from God’s Word – a reminder of how powerfully He works in the hearts of even the youngest.
They are also thrilled to share that their flights are booked for their upcoming short home assignment in Northem Ireland early next year. They are already looking forward to reconnecting with many people! In the meantime, they would deeply value your prayers as over the next few weeks they have a couple of trips, a bookkeeper seminar and paperwork to attend to, they are trusting God’s wisdom and strength in it all.
After years of building contacts in a local church they finally had the opportunity to share about the mission’s vision in one of their prayer meetings. It was both exciting and a little daunting, but such a privilege for them to see doors opening. Pray that this church will embrace the call to go to the surrounding villages with the Good News.

• The returning and new teenagers in the dorm and the regular meetings that have started again
• The encouraging time at the kids’ programme
• The opportunity to welcome a new missionary family, and the time spent with different guests staying in their guestrooms
• The strength they can draw from His Word
• Ongoing discipleship programmes and the teaching of young people
Please pray for:
• Andrew organizing a Bible programme for teenagers during the yearly church conference in one of the villages
• Joanna attending a bookkeeping seminar
• The consultant joining them to help families with child education and child safety (early October)
• Joanna’s preparations for a Sunday school seminar in one of the Villages (end of October)
• Paperwork to be completed in a timely manner
