Consultant check

Lív finds it hard to believe that they are already at the end of the rainy season where she serves in West Africa. People were afraid that some of what they had planted would not ripen, due to a lack of rain during the month of October. Praise the Lord, at the end of the month it rained several times, so now everybody is happy and trusting that all the fields will do well. The ladies have started cutting rice and picking corn, most of the corn is ripe and picked, and the men will soon start to harvest the sorghum. The peanuts still need some time before they are ripe.

Over the last few months, Lív has mostly used her time helping the young believer, who is translating from the Old Testament, go through some of his translation. Now they are working their way through Exodus. Pray that the Lord gives them wisdom.

Lív is also preparing for a consultant check, which will start soon. The epistles that will be checked are Hebrews, James, 1, 2 Peter, 1, 2, 3 John, and Jude. Some years ago Lív translated parts of the book of Jonah for the Bible teaching. Now the young believer has translated the rest of it, and it will also be checked.

The consultant is coming all the way from the USA. Please pray that his journey will go well. Travelling has become a lot more complicated lately. Pray that the Lord will give wisdom, health and stamina during the check as it will probably take around eight days to get through all the material. Pray also that all the practical things will go smoothly.

Pray for the Bible teaching every Monday evening. They will soon start going through Revelation. Pray for open hearts and understanding for those that attend.

Thank you for your prayers.
