Commentaries at the printers

Paul and Marina Briggs have been working away, in Northern Ireland, on Bible commentaries in the Loron language for the books of Galatians and Ephesians. They hope to get the Ephesians commentary back from the printers before the end of the month. Marina has also been developing more Loron literacy materials.

They have been keeping in regular contact with various folks in Ivory Coast over the past months and it seems like life is getting pretty much back to normal there after the virus.

The Loron believers have been allowed to meet together again at church, and outreach work to new villages has been resumed.

Unfortunately, the final translation-consultant check on the book of 2 Corinthians scheduled for June has had to be postponed to a later date.

A recent storm blew the roof off a house that Paul and Marina had built a few years ago for needy folks in the village. A blind believer had been using the house, so they arranged for a carpenter to replace the wood and tin that had been destroyed, and the believer was able to return home quite quickly, which was good because it’s rainy season right now.

Please pray for safety for all the believers from different people groups in the more northerly regions.

Thank you for your prayers for Paul and Marina, and for the Loron people in Ivory Coast.
