Change ahead

This year is going to be one that is full of changes but through it all Barnabas and Tabea Brownridge are sure that God is going ahead of them and is preparing the way. God is good and does good and they are sure that no matter what happens it is ultimately going to be used for His glory and their good.

Tabea has received news that her settled status has been granted, which was a big relief. She has now applied for British Citizenship. Apparently, it can take up to six months for this to

They were very blessed by being able to see Barnabas’s family and enjoy their last Christmas with them before they hopefully head to Mexico!

They are currently trying to plan their remaining six months in the UK/Europe. They are currently in Germany seeing family and friends along with trying to help out where they can in the church.

In early February, Barnabas has been asked to cover a class for the Bible School and so they are going to go up for the week when he teaches and take the opportunity to see some of the personnel and students and share about their plans to go to Mexico.

For the rest of their time in the UK they are hoping to continue in serving the church in Lincoln and meeting with people and churches to share about what God is doing around the world. Barnabas is also hoping to start doing some evangelism in Lincoln. During this time, they will also need to get their visas sorted and figure out what of our things they will take with them and what to sell, give away, or put into storage.

They are planning on having their ‘Sending Service’ at their church in Lincoln on the 17th of May. This will be an opportunity for them to be prayed for and sent out to do what God has equipped them to do. They are then planning on leaving and going to Germany before heading to Mexico (from Germany) in July.

Six months may seem like a long time now, but they are almost certain that time will fly. In all of their doubts and fears they want to trust God and find their joy in Him.

They are thankful for:

The ‘Settled Status’ and that the citizenship application is now being processed.

Quality time with family and friends.

A great God who continues to guide and help them in all the things that need to be done.

Prayer points:

That they would continue to trust God and find joy amongst all the chaos of sorting, selling, moving things, and booking ferries and flights.

For Barnabas as he teaches at North Cotes – he has never done this before.

For the citizenship process and the subsequent visa application (for Mexico) and that everything would be done in time for them to leave the UK in May.

Thank you for all your prayers!
